To demonstrate the benefits of Toyota hybrid we are inviting customers to see how far they can travel in electric mode during a test drive – discover more below.
To date we have found that on average up to 55% of the journey time during a test drive is completed in electric mode, and because the majority of our cars are full hybrid petrol-electric, you never have to plug the car in – it re-charges itself! Our hybrid vehicles offer significant savings on fuel costs, reduced CO2 emissions, and a smooth, stress-free drive.
We recommend discovering the Toyota Hybrid Experience on a test drive of your own but you can see the percentage other hybrid test drivers spent in electric mode below now. Select the play button to view their journeys and see our hybrid cars in action.

Book a hybrid test drive with your dealer.
Your test drive will be monitored by a device fitted to the car, and key statistics will be measured^
At the end of your test drive, the dealer will be able to show you a map of your journey, plus how much time was spent on electric mode.
You will then receive an email and certificate for your test drive and your results will be published anonymously in our National and dealer league tables.
^Our hybrid demonstrator vehicles are fitted with a telematics device, which with your permission will track your test drive journey to gather key statistics and show you how efficient your drive is. Hybrid test drive data is retained for a maximum of one year and is for statistical and research purposes only. Only Toyota GB and DriveCo (the service provider) will have access to this information
